Resistors connections → Series – Parallel
Network Analysis
Series resistor accomplish:
$$V_t = V_1 + V_2 + \cdots + V_n$$
$$R_{eq} = R_1 + R_2 + \cdots + R_n$$
Parallel resistors accomplish:
$$V_1 \ = \ V_2 \ = \ V_n$$
$$\frac{1}{R_t} \ = \ \frac{1}{R_1} \ + \ \frac{1}{R_2} \ + \ ... \ + \ \frac{1}{R_n}$$
